It's an unsettling scene because Bast comes across like a stalker and pervert. It is heavily implied that both of them know that the other is watching them naked, and that they use this "play" as a form of seduction and "foreplay". It's still not up my alley, but it makes sense in the context of this story.

However, there is still the issue that Bast seems to use his Fae magic to seduce women. That's not cool at all, and equivalent to drugging someone, and thus rape.
